Lilly Buttrose is an artist with a background training in visual arts, textiles. Her exhibition work employs techniques in basketry, embroidery and screen printing. These processes have been showcased in local group exhibitions, collaborations with furniture designers, as well as local and overseas residencies.
Recently, by tuition, there developed a growing interest in inviting metal work into her practice. In finding ways to combine both textiles and metal, necklaces and earrings were created. Today her practice continues to balance between exhibition and retail product emphasising time intensive processes.

Lilly works out of her studio in the JamFactory which she shares with her partner Jordan Gower in Adelaide, South Australia.
